Grand Champions of the 2023 Governor's STEM Competition of PA

Grand Champions of the 2023 Governor's STEM Competition of PA
CHS's Engineering team of Dorian Stroud, Max Behfar, Ruby Frazier, Zachry Hurt, and Kevin Shank competed against 75 teams from schools across the state and came away being named the Grand Champions of the 2023 Governor's STEM Competition of Pennsylvania!

The Governor’s STEM Competition of Pennsylvania challenges students to develop a prototype that solves a problem to “improve the lives of Pennsylvanians”. Our team of seniors in the Engineering Technology Program developed a prototype to help with local stream cleanup using a bubble barrier for trash collection.

Our team presented their project in Harrisburg, PA along with the other 20 finalists. Along with being named Grand Champion, they were also chosen as "The Most Innovative Project".

Congratulations to the team for winning the competition and representing CHS!

Herd Strong!
