Carlisle at the District 3 Championships
Saturday May 17

Carlisle track and field traveled to the District 3 championships at Shippensburg University over the weekend. Leading the way for the herd was Ana Bondy, district champion in the 1600m run with her time of 4:56.45. She also claimed a bronze medal in the 3200m run. Congratulations Ana!

For the Herd boys, Xavier Campbell placed fourth in triple jump with a new PR of 44’6”, Nathan Carothers placed fourth in shotput with a new PR of 53 feet 1.5 inches, and Parker Smith claimed a silver medal in the 400 m run with a new PR and school record time of 48.16. Congratulations Parker!

All four athletes have qualified to compete at the state championships at Shippensburg University this weekend.


Carlisle at Altoona vs. CD East
Tuesday, May 6

Carlisle Track & Field travelled to Altoona on Tuesday.

The Herd fell to the mountain lions 72 to 78 but defeated CD East 111 to 38. The Lady Herd also fell to the mountain lions 15 to 135 and defeated CD East 93 to 51. The Herd travels to the Mid Penn Championship meet on Saturday.

Carlisle vs. Cumberland Valley
Tuesday, April 29

Carlisle Track & Field hosted Cumberland Valley on Tuesday. 

The Herd boys claimed victory over the Eagles 81 to 69! Leading the way for the Herd was Parker Smith, scoring 16 points individually with a key 2nd place finish in the 100m run, Seth Reichenbach scoring 10 points, and Xavier Campbell and Drew Hopper both scoring 9 points. The Herd is now 6-1 on the season and on track to claim the Mid Penn Commonwealth Division Title again this season with wins next week. 

The Lady Herd saw some new PR’s across the field on the day but ultimately fell to the Eagles 40 to 110. Leading the way for the Herd was Elisabeth Bordner scoring 10 points individually, Ana Bondy with 6 points, and Alexis Wolf with 6 points. 

The Herd hosts the 36th Annual Stan Morgan Invitational at Carlisle on Saturday.

Carlisle at Chambersburg vs. Harrisburg
Tuesday, April 22

Carlisle Track & Field traveled to Chambersburg on Tuesday. 

The Herd defeated the Trojans 92 to 58. The Herd set the tone early winning the 4x8 with key splits from Vitor Santos, Landis Leatherman, Kolbin Heberlig, and Ben Kerr. The Herd swept all three relays was led by Xavier Campell winning all three jumps; Erik Samuelson, Nathan Carothers, and Drew Hopper sweeping shot put and scoring key points in the field; and Conway Brown II winning pole vault.

The Lady Herd fell to the Trojans 47.5 to 102.5. The Herd was led by Ana Bondy winning the 1600 and the 3200, Ny Hairston winning the 100m run, Alexis Wolf winning the 300m hurdles, and Elisabeth Bordner winning the 800m run. 

The Herd plays host to Cumberland Valley on Tuesday. 


Carlisle vs. Mifflin County
Tuesday, April 15

Carlisle Track & Field played host to Mifflin County on Tuesday.

The Herd defeated the huskies 103 to 47. The Herd was led by Xavier Campbell scoring 11 individual points, Nathan Carothers scoring 10 points, and a new PR to take first in triple jump from Brayden Stewart.

The Lady Herd defeated Mifflin County  98.5 to 50. The Lady Herd swept all three relays and was led by Alexis Wolf scoring 15 individual points and Nylajah Hairston and Elisabeth Bordner both scoring 10 points individually. 


Carlisle at the Bruce Dallas Invitational 
Saturday April 5

Carlisle Track & Field traveled to the Bruce Dallas Invitational at Cumberland Valley on Saturday. The Lady Herd saw PRs throughout the day. They were led by Elisabeth Bordner with a new PR in the open 800 of 2:27 and Alexis Wolf with a new PR in the 100-meter hurdles of 18.02.

The Herd boys placed second overall, scoring 57 team points. The Herd was led by Parker Smith, winning the 400-meter run and closing in on the school record with a new PR of 49.34, and Xavier Campbell winning the triple jump with a new PR of 44 feet 2 inches. 

Carlisle vs. Central Dauphin
Thursday April 3

Carlisle Track & Field hosted Central Dauphin on Thursday.

The Herd soared past the Rams on both sides. The Herd boys won 131 to 18. The Herd was led by first place multiple first place finishers Connor Baldwin, Parker Smith, Drew Hopper, Peyton Mitchell, and Xavier Campbell. 

The Lady Herd won 96 to 53. The Herd was led by multiple first place finishers Alexis Wolf and  Nylajah Hairston.

The Herd travels to the Bruce Dallas Invitational on Saturday. 

Carlisle at State College
Tuesday April 1

Carlisle Track & Field travelled to State College on Tuesday.

The Herd fell to the little lions 58 to 92. First place finishers for the Herd included Parker Smith in the 400 and triple jump, Connor Baldwin with a new PR in the 300m hurdles, and Seth Reichenbach in the 3200m run. 

The Lady Herd fell to the little lions 21 to 129. Leading the way for the Herd was Ana Bondy placing first in the 1600m run, and the winning 4x8 team of Paige Myers, Elisabeth Bordner, Natalya Kennedy, and Ana Bondy.

The Herd plays host to Central Dauphin on Thursday. 

Carlisle vs. Harrisburg
Tuesday March 25

Last night, Carlisle Track & Field opened the dual meet season, playing host to Harrisburg. 

The Herd showed no remorse, winning the meet 143 to 7. The Herd was led by first-place finishers Parker Smith, Peyton Mitchell, Landon Trahan, Kolbin Heberlig, Vitor Santos, Brock Wolaver, Connor Baldwin, Xavier Campbell, Joey Bozicevic, Nathan Carothers, and Ben Gavaria. 

The Lady Herd won the meet 110 to 34. Leading the way were first-place finishers Nylajah Hairston, Araina Stackfield, Elisabeth Bordner, Ana Bondy, Elly Kessler, Alana Posey, Alexis Wolf, Alyssa Jersoky, Anna Schadler, and Rachel Plant. 

The Herd travels to Chambersburg for the Tim Cook Invitational on Saturday.
