Are you the parent of a CHS football player? Then you are a member of the Carlisle Football Booster Club! All parents and players are automatically members.
The Boosters play a pivotal role in helping to support the team and the football program. We do this by:
--Fundraising, which helps cover a variety of expenses such as senior banners, team t-shirts & shorts for camp, transportation to/from camp, special events, senior gifts, junior jackets, storage on the practice field, and certain equipment for the team. For the 2023 season, the Boosters funded over $30,000 in team expenses, including the cost of new jerseys. Our #1 fundraiser is a concession stand at the Carlisle fairgrounds, which is open during select car show weekends.
--Organizing team meals for Heat Acclimation week and game nights
--Planning special events such as Senior Night and the End-of-Season Banquet where players receive special recognition
--Selling team programs and football Spirit Wear
The Boosters fundraise in a variety of ways, which includes running a concession stand at the Carlisle Fairgrounds. The stand, which operates during car show weekends, is entirely volunteer-run by parents and players.
Parents can get involved by helping with any of the following:
--Concessions: All families are expected to work a minimum of 4 shifts; help is also needed organizing and running the stand overall.
--Meals: Help with seeking donations from local businesses/restaurants and ordering and organizing meals.
--Special Events: Plan Senior Night or the end-of-season Banquet
--Spirit Wear: Set up our online Spirit Wear store...it pretty much runs itself!
--Social Media and Programs: Help with taking photos, organizing the program, and soliciting program sponsors
--Fundraising: Assist with finding sponsors and donations
