The Rotary Club of Carlisle recently honored Ella Shatz, a senior at Carlisle High School, as the March Student of the Month. She received this recognition for exhibiting outstanding leadership, service, and scholastic achievement to both her school and community.
Ella is a member of the National Honor Society, the National French Honor Society, the National English Honor Society and Treasurer of the Model UN Club. She has been interested in ceramics and pottery for several years and owns a small business on Etsy specializing in ceramics. She also volunteers and teaches ceramics at the Carlisle Arts Learning Center. She has been awarded scholastic gold and silver keys for her achievements in ceramics and photography. Ella plans to attend college at a small liberal arts college.
