About Me

I have been teaching in the Carlisle Area School District since 2004. I spent my first 6 years teaching Physical Science on the 8G team at Wilson Middle School. I then split my time between Wilson and Lamberton as the middle school librarian for 6 years. I'm currently the Carlisle High School librarian, and the Head Librarian for the school district. I was the student council advisor at Wilson for many years, and am the Junior Class advisor at CHS.

I grew up in the beautiful Laurel Highlands of western Pennsylvania, and then went to Arkansas for college. I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Middle School Math/Science Education from Harding University in 2004, my M.S. in School Librarianship from McDaniel College in 2010, and I completed my Administrator I Certification from McDaniel College in 2015.
