Our classroom is
PEANUT FREE!
If you would like for your child to have a snack, please pack one for your child every day. This snack is optional.  If you would like your child to have a snack but are not able to provide one, please contact me directly.  Snacks will be available only if prior arrangement has been made.

Regardless of whether or not we have any peanut allergies in our class group, our classroom remains peanut free on a consistent basis.  There are peanut allergies in other classes, and we switch classes during WIN time.  We want to ensure that every classroom is a safe place for every student.  

All SNACKS eaten in our room must be peanut free.  Unfortunately, this means that homemade snacks are not permitted, unless they are clearly labeled with an ingredient list.  In addition, snacks that say "May contain peanuts or tree nuts," are not permitted.  I'm sorry for any inconvenience this causes, but peanut allergies are potentially life threatening, and must be taken seriously.  Please see the Safe Snack Guide below for ideas.

**Packed lunches do not need to be peanut free, since they remain in the students' lunch boxes until lunch time.**
