As always, our faculty and staff are looking forward to another great school year working with all of our students and their families.  This year, a group consisting of teachers, counselors, and principals will join together to continue an in-school mentoring program called “LAMP” which pairs individual students with an adult who cares very much about their success and well-being at our middle school.   

What will the “LAMP” faculty members do?  They will serve as advisers and guides to help students stay focused on the things they need to do to be successful in school.  They will interact with the students’ teachers and counselors to stay current on their grades and progress.  They will make time to build a relationship with the students that will make them realize they have an advocate in the building who really knows and understands them.  Most importantly, they will work closely with students and their families to encourage achievement, self confidence in their abilities, and a positive outlook on school.
