Dr. Colleen Friend had the privilege of speaking at the press conference on the importance of our military-connected students, the challenges they endure, and the importance of school districts working for Purple Star recognition. Dr. Friend proudly shared that the Carlisle Area School District has earned Purple Star recognition which “reflects our unwavering commitment to serving military families with intentionality and care.”
