The Carlisle High School (CHS) Culinary Arts students made a visit to Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC). They were greeted by Chef Patti, the culinary and pastry arts program director.
The students were split into two groups and did hands-on preparation for their lunch. They assisted with a Beef Stroganoff entree made with grass-fed tenderloin, a fall salad with fruit and pepitas, and homemade apple dumplings with caramel. The students also were given information on the curriculum and programs available at the school.
The students enjoyed their visit. Thank you HACC!
