CASD Engineering Seniors Head to States

The Governor’s STEM Competition of Pennsylvania challenges students to develop a prototype that solves a problem to “improve the lives of Pennsylvanians”. Our team of seniors in the Engineering Technology Program developed a prototype to help with local stream cleanup and have been selected as one of twenty teams to present their solution at the State Competition in April.

Dorian Stroud, Zachry Hurt, Kevin Shank, Ruby Frazier, and Max Behfar developed a prototype that uses bubbles to direct trash floating in a stream into a collection bin.
