Mr. Speers - A Treasured Volunteer
Mr. Speers passed away Sunday morning, March 5, 2023. Mr. Speers was a valued member of our Carlisle High School (CHS) staff and has been an integral person within our math department. He has touched so many lives with his kindness and desire to help as many people as he could.
In Fall 2022, a CHS hallway was dedicated in his honor:
Carlisle High School dedicated a hallway to our treasured volunteer, Mr. Speers. He started volunteering for the math department full time in 2010. Before that, he was a part time volunteer in a special education math classroom. He served in various roles during his teaching career. Some of those roles include math teacher, home-school visitor, and senior class advisor. He has taught many current CASD employees and many parents or family members of current CHS students.
