I earned my undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and my Masters in Reading from Shippensburg University. I have been teaching for 21 years, ten in Texas and eleven in Pennsylvania.  I love teaching! My husband and I have been married for ten years and we have three talented and beautiful children.  In addition to attending school, our children love participating and playing sports. They keep us busy! I also enjoy reading, drawing, hiking, swimming, watching my favorite shows, listening to music, kayaking, traveling, and hanging out with friends.  This year I learned how to float.  
I was born and raised in Texas.  Fortunately, I grew up speaking two languages, so I am bilingual.  Spanish is my second language.  I have also lived in California and Kansas. Pennsylvania is my most favorite state.  I'm not sure I'll move again.  In case you're wondering, we are a military family.  My husband is in the Army Reserves.  We are super proud of him.
