YWCA Presents Empowerment Photography Project
Robin Scaer, Executive Director of the YWCA, 10th grader Brookelynn Carpenter, WMS 7th grader Meghan Lipscomb, and Hannah Weisberg, YWCA Youth Program Manager, recently presented information on the Girls Empowerment Photography Project to the School Board of Director's Community and Intergovernmental Relations Committee. The project showcased the interest of 20 girls in typically male dominated careers such as a construction workers, judges, engineers, and the president through photos.
